Long lost but not forgotten, The Fox House that graced Vienna’s 7th district has imprinted a new identity of confidence onto the city’s young fashion set. Toni Tramezzini, himself an alumnus of the now closed pop-up space, has revived the spirit of The Fox House and its interdisciplinary focus with his EIGENSINNIG – Schauraum für Mode und Fotografie. As much a boutique as it is a gallery, curation is key here and the pieces—no matter their make—all come in either black, white or grey, which is mirrored by the black and white street-styled fashion photography displayed on the store’s walls. On a regular basis the gallery space also hosts openings for younger photographic talents including the likes of Severin Koller, Trente Parke and David Gibson.
