While sitting in this restaurant’s garden, it is quite hard to believe you are just 60 seconds away from the most bustling part of Mariahilferstrasse. Hidden in a beautiful alleyway, it is not as romantic as it sounds: the regulars seem to be mostly office employees on lunch breaks. The menu has a mix of Italian and Austrian cuisine, combined with fresh fish and salad.
The menus around noon are highly recommended, as is the styrian pumpkin seed oil salad dressing (an Austrian delicacy). If you come in exhausted from shopping on Mariahilferstrasse, their menu will give you enough energy until late night, as the portions are not only tasty, but also big. And all this at fair prices and a fine selection of wine.
Highly recommended after a shopping frenzy on Vienna’s biggest shopping street.
