Second place isn’t necessarily first loser. Amusement park Bohemian Prater at the edge of Vienna’s 10th district is excellent proof of this. However smaller in fame and size than its big brother, the Viennese Prater, the Bohemian Prater is nonetheless an excursion worth taking. Together with the Laaer mountain recreation area (situated within walking distance), it is a popular trip for families and couples who want to avoid the crowds of the “Wurstelprater.”
Given that age only increases value in Viennese culture, some of the rides are prized at more than 100 years old. Take an adventure on some rickety rides!
