Established ten years ago by college buddies Alois Wienerroither and Eberhard Kohlbacher, this gallery is a relatively new addition to Vienna’s fine arts scene.

When they are not trawling the art fairs in Maastricht and Palm Beach, you’ll find the congenial duo in their light and inviting gallery in Vienna’s city center, just around the corner from the historic Café Central. You don’t have to be in the market for a hefty art purchase to come here and enjoy what the pair has to offer. Come here for an up-close look at the stars of early 20th-century Austrian art, Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and Oskar Kokoschka, or—Wienerroither & Kohlbacher’s personal favorite—Josef Floch.
