Street Art Passage is the third arty passage—with three in total—in the MuseumsQuartier and it’s entirely devoted to street art. The passage is home to a permanent installation by the anonymous French artist “Invader.” In a mosaic of black, blue and white tiles his “space invaders” statically buzz around the bridge, which connects the MuseumsQuartier with the Breite Gasse and Spittelberg, a district that houses a large amount of the city’s graffiti on its walls.

In addition to Invader’s tile piece, there is a wall where changing exhibitions by international and local street artists are hung. Every new installation is accompanied by a special edition of the journal “Beton Blumen,” designed by the exhibiting artists and available in an attached automat.
