Projektraum Viktor Bucher is a magnet for emerging contemporary international artists. With a focus on applied arts spanning design and architecture, it has been championing, promoting, supporting and bringing contemporary art works to public attention since 1995.

The gallery’s focus isn’t restricted solely toward art in its classical sense, actively encouraging artistic approaches with a touch of irony and taking a refreshingly liberal attitude toward that often maligned descriptor in the art world: ‘Fun’. 

The gallery’s broad program of exhibitions and artists has brought interesting and regionally diverse young and promising practitioners to Vienna—many for the first time. Through exhibitions held here, artists have sparked interest both in Austria and internationally, helping them to develop and assert themselves globally.
