In line with its historic location, Galerie nächst St. Stephan has been around for decades, but has yet to grow old. Sitting in its original city-center location since its founding in 1920, the gallery is no where near a relic of the past.

As everything surrounding the gallery changed throughout the years, the space and art has stayed consistently contemporary. Primarily supporting concept-based international artists working with painting, sculpture, installations, photography and video the gallery has recently exhibited artists including Jessica Stockholder, Imi Knoebel and Katherina Grosse.
