Lebemann und Hirn is a new addition to the Gumpendorfer Straße scene. Primarily serving young creatives and students from the Arts Academy, it is a casual, recreation room-like hangout. A few narrow rooms are spread across three floors, casually furnished with comfortable couches and tables in tiny living room clusters. An ideal place to kick back with friends, Lebermann und Hirn even have a football table in the basement.

The range of entertainment is diverse: happenings in the past include a DJ Cook-off, a “Blogtail Party” and DJs spinning “Volksmusik on Acid” (folk music on acid). The kitchen serves up a selection of finger foods including toasts, sandwiches, soups and a specialty they call “fried candy bars”.
