Tired of the club scene? How about pushing your adrenaline up another level with a different nightlife activity? Drinking and driving isn’t as foolhardy as it sounds if it takes place on a controlled karting track—although we recommend you keep yourself in enough check to handle the course. The walls might be made of tires, but it still hurts when you slam into them. And with no helmets, you’re racing at your own risk. Round up a bunch of thrill-loving speed devils and go to town.
The karts are well-maintained and can reach up to 150km/hr. Technically, the place is open in the daytime, but the allure of midnight go-karting really can’t be beat. And the nocturnal hours of operation see the course much less crowded. Disc Kart also offers a few arcade games, foosball and pool tables for less daring sport. Beers are available on tap from the second floor bar for a dose of liquid courage before you belt up, or as a nice cool drink after you’ve finished tearing up the track with the sweet smell of burnt rubber lingering in the air.
