Housed within the second floor of the historic Blackstone apartment building (built in 1924), 140sqm Gallery has been showcasing local and international contemporary art by established and up and coming talent since 2007.
Liu Ying Mei, the gallery’s founder, arrived in Shanghai from Beijing with a background in curating contemporary art and consultancy. She’s successfully created a well respected gallery in which you might find works ranging from photography to carefully detailed illustrations inspired by Chinese antiquity. 140 sqm Gallery continuously exhibits intriguing art in a great setting, located in the heart of the Former French Concession.
