“Casa de Quem” means “Whose House” and the answer can only be “everyone’s”. This art, fashion and design studio/shop hosts a multitude of workshops, exhibitions, graffiti sessions: it fairly bubbles with communal creativity.
Although Casa de Quem! is the brainchild of Monayna Pinheiro (the girl behind the feminine apparel line Apego) and Mario Mantovanni, the shop sells clothes and accessories from a whole range of independent labels. The organizers decided to include as many others as they could: more stylists and designers mean more merchandise—and more customers. As a result, the Casa has its finger firmly on the pulse of São Paulo’s alternative fashion scene.
