At CB’s, the music can emanate from a band playing the stage, a DJ tucked away behind the decks or a jukebox controlled by leather-jacketed club kids, but one thing is for sure: it will always be rock’n’roll.
This expansive bar, which inhabits an hangar in hip Barra Funda, has built its reputation on providing good quality music at loud, loud levels: with a good stage, big dance floor and interesting line-up of local and international bands, it boasts all the necessary amenities. It’s no wonder, then, that CB’s long, 1950s-style bar is sometimes covered with dancers rather than drinks.
Comfortable red sofas provide respite from all this activity, as does the Tex-Mex food (chilli and tacos) and imported beer (Guinness, Newcastle Brown Ale, Old Speckled Hen).
