Any shop that stands adjacent to the mighty Four Barrel Coffee is bound to be good: proxy immediacy begets greatness. No Shop, contrary to its name, is indeed a legit clothing store that sells consignment and vintage dandies hailing straight from the city’s coolest grandmothers’ and great-aunts’ closets. In short, they provide a step above San Francisco’s above-average used clothing offerings.
In a store that is as carefully curated as SFMOMA, fashion-savvy shoppers can access mid-to-late-century garb that’s as awe-inspiring in its originality as its uniqueness. The in-house dog, Bone, is as cute as can be and the saleswomen are unpretentious, unlike so many other overly thought-out vintage boutiques.
