Fiancé team, Alix Thomsen and Lionel Bensemoun, launched their semi-eponymous boutique store in 2009, bringing to the fore that evergreen Parisian classic, the fitted shirt. They also offer some quality jackets and cardies but it’s the shirts that carry the most prestige with a range that is stylish, and casual whilst maintaining a vintage feel.

The owners source their poplin, cotton veils and woolen fabrics from select producers in Japan, Italy, America and France before they go up for grabs in store as rugged, sexy shirts for the ladies, and as suave designs for the gents. Thomsen remains loyal to their previous ranges by keeping them in stock and for sale but they still throw up new and timeless cuts season after season so it’s definitely worth keeping tabs on their catalogue.
