The fashion world always loves a good riff on androgyny, and The Kooples is making noise with its line of almost interchangeable men’s and womenswear.

The idea of the new brand created by the Elisha brothers, former designers for Comptoir des Cotonniers, was to establish a new yet familiar concept for a unisex clothing line. Among the black and white interior of the store you’ll find clothes for men and women which share similar designs, the same vibe and even same materials—a novel idea following the concept that people in a relationship often share one another’s clothes. Think London rocker with a Parisian twist, hardcore and luxurious details at accessible prices.
