From humble origins in a beat-up loft in New York’s Union Square, Surface to Air has emerged from its infancy as an avant-garde creative studio into a high-concept commercial power-team with a flagship store in Paris and another in Sao Paulo.

The men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections offer sophisticated and uncluttered outfits—they are responsible for the infamous buckle shoes and their leather jackets are an international hit. With its great location, the store features a shop-in-shop space with a rotating selection of stock including the likes of Rivieras, Black Block, Bless, and Retrosuperfuture. Known for their capsule collections with Justice, Solve Sundsbo and Asics, Surface to Air’s abilities also extend to producing music videos for the likes of Chromeo, Justice, and Jamaica.
