Servane Gaxotte’s whimsical jewelry collection revolves around ‘la vie en Rose’, the actual life of Rose, a doll who invaded the designer’s pregnant dreams six years ago. As dreams become reality, Rose has since been transformed into cute wobbly silver or bronze charms that dangle from necklaces, earrings, and bracelets featuring her in different outfits including little shorts and sneakers or ballerina skirts.

As luck would have it, Rose’s life became ever more complicated when she met the man of her life, ‘Leo’, got knocked up herself and began to have crazy dreams of her own. Thus, the collection had to be expanded to include everything that Rose dreams up: various morphing animals like rabbits, dogs, mice, and cats, treasure boxes, moons, stars, dismembered body parts, and of course amorous messages to her beloved Leo.

While it all sounds a bit creepy, the result is a unique, fanciful, and feminine collection that also makes for great conversation material. The tiny store also incorporates rotating art exhibitions by Kalou, which (like everything else in this little shop) revolve around that cute little egocentric doll, Rose.
