Le 29 is a multifunctional photography venue exhibiting a combined book store gallery space and “Ze Rouge Corner”, where you can purchase limited editions of customized artist’s prints. Located between the Gare de l’Est and Canal St. Martin, the shop comprises a selection of more than 3500 photography books, monographies, anthologies, historical documents, artist’s books, guides and children’s art books.

Once to twice a month Le 29 organizes meet and greet signing sessions with photographers, and playful discovery ateliers for children introducing them to the wonders of photography.

The gallery’s exhibitions alternate every 2-4 weeks, mainly focusing on contemporary reportage, portrait and landscape photography. The staff are always keen to promote new talent, so if you are an undiscovered, gifted snapper, drop in and suggest your latest creation.
