Long before launching her eponymous collection, Barbara Bui opened a boutique in 1983 on rue Etienne Marcel where she tested her own designs among top ready-to-wear designers. It was an ostensible success, and now you can find the Barbara Bui women’s collection in addition to all the big names and their secondary lines at the space.

The large, but judicious selection includes clothes and accessories from Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and Rick Owens to Marc by Marc Jacobs, See by Chloé, and Prada Sport, just to name a few. The flagship store only carries women’s, but there is a footwear-only store across the street, and a men’s store two doors down next to another Bui store…just in case you forgot who the mastermind is.
