A collective in the purest sense, Pain O Chokolat is composed of 10 Parisians who are passionate about fashion, sport, food, film and throwing massive parties. A year ago, one of them—the stylish Charaf—opened Le Pompon, a breath of fresh air in the occasionally lackluster Parisian nightlife scene. With his sidekick Mehdi, a video director, promoter and DJ extraordinaire, they managed to create a certain je ne sais quoi that makes nights at Le Pompon amazing. Chez Omar Moroccan affair
Opened ages ago, this is the place to enjoy a traditional Moroccan couscous and lamb mechoui (surrounded with local fashionistas). But their steak poivre is delicious too.

Located near the Belleville metro station, this delicious Vietnamese canteen is where I stock up on Banh Cuon, phos and lemongrass chicken. Great quality, but still affordable.
