Mon Oncle Vigneron
A home-cooked meal, by reservation only

Part epicerie, cave à vin, and table d’hôtes, Mon Oncle Le Vigernon is high on the list of unique dining experiences. The personal service demands lauding: in the evenings, owners Chika and Pascal revamp their 19th Arrondissement restaurant into a chic French chateau dinner party, limited to an intimate 1-30 guests by reservation only.

Food is served around 8:30pm. Taking food preferences into account, the duo whip up a three-course meal that can skew African to Southern French, with the same entrées for each diner but a variety of starters, desserts and wine. The chatty owners, unafraid of joining their dinner guests for a sip, slip one more surprise on the table: super-fair prices at less than 40 Euros per person. Take it home with you too, as their gourmet goodies are purchasable to-go when the couple aren’t cooking.
