So much taste in so little space. This is an authentic Italian restaurant, not a dusty pizzeria owned by non-Italians, that serves exclusively pasta Bolognese and pizza marguerita.
This shoebox-size tavern looks very neutral from the outside. The menu itself fits on a slate. Elio Bombace, the Napolitano owner, is a purist and often recites out loud the marvels of the day—which generally are simple, organic and incredibly tasty. Try the olive oil spagettihs with a glass of good Sicilian wine.
At Cibus, the choice may be limited but everything here is prepared with care and a lot of savoir-faire. Don’t miss the truffles in the winter and keep the address secret!
