Boulangerie Mauvieux
The city's best baguette

One of the perks of the French Presidency gig is being greeted every morning with the warm, freshly baked scent of Paris’ best baguette. The honor of providing the nation’s favorite bread stick to the Elysée Palace in 2012 went to the Boulangerie Mauvieux bakery, whose crusty, aromatic, baked-to-a-tee loaves took home 1st place in the city-wide competition. Of course, you don’t have to be François Hollande’s homie to enjoy this privilege, just head to 18th to sink your teeth into Boulangerie’s award winning delicacy.
