Founded by Claudia Cargnel and Frédéric Bugada in 2002, Bugada & Cargnel -formerly known as Cosmic Galerie-occupies 500 sq. meters in an industrial building. This former garage from the early ’30s serves as a spacious and light room where a range of emerging or established artists can be found exploring their creative practice.

Artists represented by the gallery include well-known names such as Parisian multimedia artist Cyprien Gaillard and Mat Collishaw, one of the YBAs (Young British Artists) working with photography and video.
