This scruffy, rock ‘n’ roll temple is a little institution in the Parisian rock scene alongside clubs like le Baron Samedi, la Féline and le Pop In, that pay tribute to the cult of rock and epic films from the ’60s.
You get the picture: a crowded room covered in posters on nicotine stained walls, the barman draining the beer barrels with you, and charismatic owner Xavier serenading the airwaves with some great vinyl tunes.
If you thought Paris can only do it the fancy-schmancy way this place will prove you wrong. Hidden amongst some casual, southwestern French restaurants, you can happily trash yourself here in good company and enjoy ace solo acts or improvised performances in this nostalgic shack full of rockers and cinephiles.
