Cloaked in dim lighting, Le Bar may make it difficult to see without squinting but easy to soak up the environs. Soft leather couches and various Asian knick-knacks brighten the infinite noir of the the interior, while the drinks list plays like a roll call of old-time favorites: margaritas, cosmopolitans, mojitos, all served one way—strong.

The bar attracts a mixed crowd, so the promise of sparking conversation coupled with a relaxed ambiance and superb cocktails means that this “first stop” on a night out could also be your last. Be warned though. A few too many of these strong long drinks and the sofas start to feel a little too comfortable—ahem, theoretically speaking, of course.
