The global Momofuku empire wouldn’t be nearly as sweet without its East Village outpost. The rollicking, always-crowded Ssäm Bar is a special, festive place where the pig and duck-centric menu runs neck-and-neck with its roster of boutique distillery brown spirits. Its full-rotisserie fowl or bo ssäm pork shoulder are only available with a required table reservation, but the bar is always open late for slurping down some freshly caught oysters or sipping small nips from a tumbler overflowing with fine, dark liquor.
