Spontini is renowned as one of the best pizzerias in town. Opened in the 1950’s, this pizza joint still follows the same special recipe as the day is began and it really is a winner.
There is only one thing you need to know when you arrive at the bustling yet cosy pizzeria- regular or large slice? What makes Spontini unique, is the fact that they only serve one thing- Margherita pizza. This may seem a tad minimalistic, but once you sink your teeth into the melt in your mouth thick, crispy base topped with tomato, mozzarella, oregano and anchovies, you will see why there is no need for anything else.
They of course offer a range of beverages, and lasagna is also offered at lunchtime, but pizza is Spontini’s specialty. There are three restaurants to choose from: the original in C.so Buenos Aires, another one in V.le Papiniano and the newest in V. Marghera. Spontini’s is a Milano must!
