Palazzo Reale
Decadent palace

Palazzo Reale is one of the most important cultural points of the city. Situated adjacent to Duomo, the decadent palace has a colossal exhibition center that has hosted several prestigious shows.

For 900 years it held political ties with the Torriani, Visconti and Sforza families before the Piermarini’s neoclassical restyling that took place at the end of the 18th century. Open to the public since 1920, it’s always worth a visit, especially during the revolving exhibitions of ancient, modern and contemporary art.
