It’s a good thing for bargain hunters that Palm Beach socialites clean house every season. One of their preferred dumping grounds is The Church Mouse, which has been seasonally for nearly 40 years by the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea.
The place is crammed with treasures including fine china and silver, stuffy furniture and house wares from regal to kitschy to a blend of both.
Designer clothing and shoes are another main attraction, though prim Chanel suits and old-lady shoes are more common considering the local crowd. Still, there’s enough to dress to impress when waltzing down Worth Avenue.
