There is a new kid on the block in Sunset Boulevard. Once Mooi Restaurant, Sage Vegan Bistro brings new verve to vegan food to L.A., joining forces with Kind Kreme, a vegan ice cream shop and new favorite amongst lactose intolerant L.A. natives.
The meatless abode’s food ranges from the raw to the cooked offering guests a selection of indulgent or lighter fare. The clever mix of ingredients and support of local agriculture make the bistro the new darling amongst eco-conscious locals. Be sure to try the zucchini fritters or their Soul Bowl—a bottomless pit of veggie goodness. Though, above all, save room for dessert. Sage’s raw dolce is worth the bite as you exit with everything but meat on the mind.
