Young Turks at The Ten Bells
British, honest, original

Historic pub The Ten Bells of Jack the Ripper fame, is currently hosting a pop-up restaurant on it’s first floor. The Young Turks, the folks who recently commandeered Frank’s Cafe, are back with future of British cuisine. With the focus heavily on seasonal, and celebrating the lesser known, expect the likes of Chestnut Mousse with Pear and Honey Granite, Braised shoulder of Sika Deer with Celeriac and Apple and the always winning Buttermilk Fried Chicken.

Heading up this Young Turks venture are Isaac Mchale (formally of The Ledbury) and James Lowe (former head chef at St John Bread & Wine, and Unlike City Guide’s own foodie insider, see his London guide of this cities finest eating establishments here) as well as The Clove Club’s Daniel Willis and Johnny Smith.

Running initially for 3 months, £39 will buy you a 4 course meal plus complimentary Hendricks cocktail. Dinner service Tuesday – Saturday and lunch on Saturdays, booking essential.
