Manna Cuisine
Sent from the heavens (at least in the biblical sense)

Manna is the UK’s oldest vegetarian fine dining restaurant, appropriately located in swanky Primrose Hill. A casual yet intimate atmosphere accompanies top-notch veggie and vegan food. The eclectic menu combines international influences and just the right subtle layering of tastes and textures that all vegetarian dishes should display (but sadly very few actually do). Praise be that there’s not a vegetarian lasagne in sight—the bane of many a non-meat eater’s dining existence.

We recommend the sesame tofu salad—homemade sesame tofu, cucumber and harusame noodles topped with crispy shiitake and oyster mushrooms and a peanut and coconut dressing—an absolute culinary delight and for many, the only good thing to ever happen to bean curd. Should you find yourself in Manna on one of London’s chillier days, you can’t beat the warming Cajun gumbo. The liqueur ice creams are the ideal way to end any meal regardless of the climate, balancing the ultimate synthesis of cooling organic ice cream and a choice of warming schoko crème, coffee or amaretto liqueurs.

Manna has been in the business of serving up imaginative veggie cuisine for over 40 years, and shows no signs of running out of gastro-steam yet.
