One of the oldest bars in Santa Gertrudis—popular with locals and tourists alike—Bar Costa becomes a buzzing hub of diners nightly, all of whom congregate in the small bar for the island’s best bocadillos.
With a limited, simple menu, the sandwiches and tapas are always excellent—and best of all, inexpensive.
The unexpectedly large bar’s walls are adorned with what seems like countless pieces of art, all by different artists. A few of said artists had run up tabs they couldn’t afford to pay, so Pepe, the owner, accepted paintings as payment.
Always crowded and consistently delicious and fresh, Bar Costa’s reputation is not to be second guessed.
