If you’re a trendy young and Danish, the chances that you haven’t heard about Karriere Bar are nil.

A huge success, this art-themed cocktail bar/restaurant is the brain child of young Danish artist Jeppe Hein, who has returned to Denmark after some successful years abroad that saw him exhibit such places as New York’s PS1 MOMA, the Centre Pompidou and the Art Biennale in Venice.

Art is infused in every part of Karriere Bar, from the lamps that were designed by Olafur Eliasson, the labyrinth-like toilets, the bar that actually moves (though slower than we could see) and yes, even the name.
