Great for breakfasts, or a light lunch, Deer Park café is a firm favourite with parents looking for a place to enjoy some adult company while the kids are kept occupied by the swings and jungle gym in the adjoining park. It’s a great setting on the slopes of the mountain, overlooking the city.

The menu caters for young and old, with both adult and childsize portions on offer. If it’s not too busy the service is fine and attentive, but on the weekends it’s teeming with people and can be a bit erratic.
