A new bar/lounge in the City Bowl, the Mersey is spread over two storeys, including a cocktail bar and restaurant, two lounges, and a professional recording studio where some of South Africa’s top bands and DJ’s put the finishing touches to their productions.

The stylish interior boasts clean lines infused with a certain playful charm, mostly evidenced by the large graphic prints that adorn the wall and the artfully positioned colourful lamps, cushions and chairs. With excellent bar food – try the tapas – great cocktails, and a welcoming ambience it’s the perfect place for a bit of playful abandon.
