Fiction has fast established itself as the premier Cape Town spot for cutting edge undergound dance music. Overlooking Cape Town’s hottest party strip, Long Street, many local acts have gotten their break on the intimate stage and the club has played host to a dizzying array of international artists. It continues each week to deliver fresh sounds to purveyors of fine electronic music.

On Wednesday nights Nu World Sessions showcases a selection of world music from across the globe. Cape Towns weekly dose of high energy Drum & Bass and a staple of the mid week party massive is Thursday’s It Came From the Jungle. The flagship Fiction night is Friday’s Killer Robot, a pioneering minimal techno night that continues to throw down a weekly standard of Berlin techno proportions. With a constant influx of quality internationals, Killer Robot is the yardstick others try to measure up to.
