A conceptual fashion label founded in 1997 by Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag, Bless concocts collections that are always a very clever mix between product and fashion design. Highly imaginative pieces like the “bootsocks”, the “furwigs” and the “cable jewelry” turned Bless into the darling of the more artsy fashion scene over the last couple of years.
Their shop is hidden off a side street in ever-developing fashion district Hackescher Markt and is, like their clothes, kept in a simple yet smart design. A sample of their self-titled everyday-wear include oversized v-neck vests in various fabrics, drop-crotch cotton trousers and comfy, baggy overalls. The typical Bless shopper is usually from Japan, subtly dressed in avant-garde from top to bottom and thrilled to spend about 500 Euros for a handbag that can also be turned into a sweater.
If in Paris, don´t forget to visit their Rue Portefoin store.
