One Sunday morning in the garden at Tresor during the heady days of the Loveparade, designer Paul Snowden takes a look around, then turns to his friend and says, “These kids, all so fucked up. All of them, so off their faces. Just wasted German youth. Wasted. German. Youth.” And so it began …

From the initial hand printed bedroom editions, to global distribution and pop culture stardom, the multi-talented artist and designer has been the mastermind behind the fashion label. Actively involved in the Berlin music/techno scene, Snowden is one of the guys who managed to put the wang back into the city’s rave culture.

Known for its bold letters and motifs propagating the in your face hedonism that Berlin and its excessive after hour nightlife is famous for, WASTED GERMAN YOUTH remains the grown-up ravers’ T-shirt label of choice. With various global adaptations over the years, from “Wasted Brooklyn Youth” to “Wasted French Fuck”, the label has found its home in the German capital.

Drop by the newly opened shop/gallery and indulge your inner wild child.
