Three heads are better than one. Since establishing themselves in 2006, British brothers Nathan, Leo and Harry (the eponymous Sameheads) have built on their early successes with avengeance. Now packing a bonafide ‘project base’ in central Neukölln, what started out as a humble fashion boutique to showcase their own designing talent—with a flair for the occasional warehouse rave—has since exploded into a multi-faceted art, music, fashion and culture forum.
An experimental fashion boutique and cafe by day and an exhibition space and club (complete with the obligatory dank, breeze-blocked basement) by night, the boys have amassed a serious array of hardware to back up their creative pipe dreams: a silk screen workshop, recording studios, a developing studio and even a hair salon amongst. And they haven’t lost their nous for throwing a party or two either—or a guerrilla fashion-show style installation for that matter.
