After studying millinery in New York and London, Rike Feuerstein came back to Berlin to open her own studio and showroom in Mitte, supplying her originally designed hats, caps and supplemental accessories like scarfs and gloves for both women and men.

The designs are clear, clean, and minimalistic, often with a sculptural quality. Feuerstein loves to reference classic shapes (especially from the 1940s-’60s), changing their silhouette and expression by adding, for example, a double brim to a classical fedora or using unexpected materials like lavender melousine fur felt on a traditional fur hat coned structure.

Feuerstein’s styles are featured in fashion magazines, and she recently designed the hats for the Joop! Jeans show.
