The label, Potipoti, was founded in 2005 as a collaboration between two designers, Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo. Operating out of Berlin and Spain, the designers create fashion oriented graphic design, drawings, visual arts and product design. Their distinctive aesthetic is reflected in the variety of products they stock as well as the eclectic range of international brands and labels they house.
Sifting through the shelves, you’ll find tailored numbers from the likes of La Casita de Wendy and Cecilia Sörensen alongside a collection of shoes from Victoria and KTW, records, CDs and magazines on design and young art that all help to create an umbrella brand for art, fashion and music that is driven by design and not the latest trends.
Potipoti’s designs regularly incorporate elements of fable and folklore and are typified by an audacious use of bold color combinations. Beige, black, navy blue and colorful accents are printed on cotton, mohair, silk and micro-corduroy fabrics and their whimsical designs can be found in Copenhagen, Barcelona and Tokyo.
