Kickback was founded in 2005 with the intent to fill a void in the retail market in Berlin-Friedrichshain. While Friedrichshain was rapidly developing some 15 years after the fall of the Wall, there was still no sneaker store in sight. So the sneaker-heads behind Kickback decided to do something about it and found the perfect pitch for their sneaker store. With something for everyone—from the obsessive collector to the innocent shopper just looking for nice kicks or a hoodie—Kickback soon became a neighborhood staple.

While the store initially focused on select shoes, they now carry an ever-expanding line of apparel. With brands like Mishka, WoodWood, Lee and others, Kickback uses its discerning eye in selecting its offerings and allows you to, well, kick back, relax and shop.
