Image Movement is the gallery Monika Sprüth Philomene Magers’ storefront operation. The gallery asked a selection of their represented artists to create a list of their “all time favorite movies.”

Ed Ruscha loves Grapes of Wrath (1940), Vito Acconci lists David Cronenberg’s Videodrome (1983) in his top 18 favorite films, Cindy Sherman can’t get enough of the blood-filled Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), the list goes on. The minimal interior, adorned with oriental rugs and plain wooden shelves, features a number of TVs playing films throughout the day.
