Pop-ups are a 21st century phenomenon—whether it’s fashion, cinema or theater, the best things are often gone in the blink of an eye. Pret A Diner prefer the term ‘dining experience’, but either way, don’t think that they’re jumping on the bandwagon—they built the damn wagon.
Back on its 3rd anniversary to its Berlin home, Pret a Diner have converted a colossal abandoned building—formerly used for opera rehearsals—into a multi-sensual space of design and food. This year it’s called ‘backstage’—and it’s one hell of a dynamic mix. Get ready for a diverse smorgasbord, including the ‘Ephemeral’ exhibition hosted by the Circle Culture Gallery, lip-smacking cocktails courtesy of Stephan Hinz from “Cocktailkunst” and live music acts. Oh, and the food, top-notch Michelin-starred cooking from an array of master chefs. It runs only till 9th March. But who cares that a pop-up is only temporary, when it blows permanent out of the water?
