When looking for a good place to read or work, three things become very important: a pleasing atmosphere, an unobtrusive music selection, and a cup of whatever you’re drinking to be tall enough to sip on for 20 pages of whatever you’re reading. In the case of this little Prenzlauer-newcomer: check, check and check.
Morning Glory serves up tea in a glass that seems gargantuan in a tiny-cup town, and has a long list of fresh fruits and vegetables from which one can compose a fresh, made-on-the-spot glass of juice. Though small, the interior is sunny and relaxing. The unfinished wooden bar-style tables with accompanying floral upholstered benches fit perfectly in their space. Lastly, the music selection hits on eclectic—jazz, samba and folk—but never loud or displeasing. A friendly and cordial staff is the icing on the cake.
