The Koriat Kuchenmanufaktur is Neukölln’s champion of cake-baking whose ovens have been blowing a blast of sweet and spongey air down Pannierstraße since it opened in 2009.
Chief bakesmith Aviv brings a truly international perspective from his Israeli background, trusting his baking methods honed over decades of recipe tweaking. By insisting on the freshest and most taste-intensive of ingredients that are carefully blended, gently baked and then lovingly decorated, the Koriat production line turns out cakes that are stunning to behold and even better to taste.
The small premises has only a few seats for customers, but with the Landwehrkanal just next door you wont be too hard pushed to find a nice spot to eat your luxurious goods. Cakes like the Pecan-nut & Chocolate Mousse and the dreamy combination of the Cheesecake with Cherry & White Chocolate have speedily earned this little outlet a strong reputation amongst locals. After a few of their generous slices, you’ll be finding it hard not to be coming back for more.
