Washed-out concrete combined with white chalk paint and plain wood serves to make this newly opened Mitte boîtespot more than appealing. A rather confused staff makes you remember the former Bioladen charm, and the quaint atmosphere is clean, quiet and chilly.

The prices are acceptable while the menu lists several standouts (big plus: Chinotto!). All in all, Kaffeemitte is a welcome addition to the borough’s not-really-insufficient coffee landscape.
