“Mountains of meat” is how many Germans describe the portions at Fleischerei Domke, a long-standing Friedrichshain butcher/deli that specializes in home cooked East German and Polish dishes. Run by Herr Domke himself, It stands out amongst Berlin butcheries for its extensive selection of both prepared and uncooked cuts of meat.
Less than five euros will usually buy a very satisfying meal, whether it be their vast selection of different wurst, schnitzel, boulette or ever-popular goulash with noodles.
